Compensation: $22-$24/hr| Full-Time

Schedule: 4pm-12:30am 5 nights a week

Job Summary

The Retail Supervisor supports daily retail dining operations with a focus on quality food, genuine service, and a positive guest experience. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys working alongside their team, and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and compliant retail operation.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of retail and café areas to ensure smooth, efficient service and a positive guest experience
  • Support and guide frontline team members including cashiers, leads, and food attendants
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management to promote a strong, service-focused team
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, infection control, and regulatory standards
  • Monitor and support cash handling and reconciliation processes to maintain accuracy and accountability
  • Assist with purchasing, inventory management, and cost control within department guidelines
  • Conduct regular rounds of retail areas to engage with guests, resolve concerns, and maintain a positive dining environment
  • Support hiring efforts, interviews, onboarding, and training initiatives to build a high-performing team
  • Help maintain quality assurance processes, operational standards, and departmental procedures
  • Step into operational roles as needed to support the team during staffing gaps or peak periods
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, food service, or related experience preferred
  • 2–4 years of food service, retail dining, or hospitality experience
  • Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
  • Familiarity with retail operations including cash handling, inventory, and POS systems
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills
  • Ability to maintain organization, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Guest-service mindset with a passion for creating positive dining experiences
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards; ServSafe® certification preferred
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Physical and Sensory Requirements

  • In this role, you will spend most of your time in offices, patient care areas, and meetings, but periodic kitchen visits are part of your oversight responsibilities. Therefore, this job involves occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may also occur in the kitchen area. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
