THE BEACH CLUB RETAIL SUPERVISOR
Job Description: Ensure all Beach Club guests receive superior shopping and dining experiences at the Village Mercantile and Creamery. Set the example by greeting all guests in a cheerful and courteous manner and insuring attentive and cordial service is provided.
Job Tasks:
- Oversee Retail team to insure delivery of WORLD CLASS SERVICE.
- Insure guests are greeted and assisted promptly.
- Insure proper sanitation standards are followed.
- Assist in answering telephone and assisting guests with information regarding the Beach Club and services
- Insure purchases are rung up correctly and proper check/cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in restocking and merchandising store supplies as needed
- Assist in inventory management
- Assist in retail shop/ice cream shop as needed
- Responsible for opening/closing procedures to include use of POS system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must have the ability to motivate team in a positive manner
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn on-site point of sales system
- Must have at least 1 year of prior retail experience
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop
- Ability to carry 25 pound several times during a shift over a medium distance
- Ability to climb ladder as needed
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
