Job description

Position Overview Keep our communities fed.
Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors, and communities. As a Warehouse Clerk, you’ll become a part of this mission by providing administrative support to our transportation team. General office duties related to distribution reporting administration, and shipping / receiving documentation and fulfillment are also part of this position.
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: 2nd shift (Sunday, Monday,Thursday & Friday 1pm-11:30pm) Job Description

You will contribute by: 

  • Release routes, print selection labels and organize by departure and commodity type

  • Take store phone calls/orders and assist them with ad-ons, memos and outs

  • Data Entry

  • Monitor system information, notify supervisors of needed adjustments

  • Customer service

  • Prepare store mail for delivery

  • Pick up selector scratches and buyer chases, create invoices, attach orders to routes, release and print labels

  • Audit inbound receiving, print labels, reconcile and note overages shorts and damage and close out purchase orders

  • Assist with special projects as needed

  • Travel Required:No       

Your work environment may include: 

  • Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

  • Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

We’re searching for candidates with:

  • Specialized Knowledge : Pallet Jack experience preferred.

  • Special Skills : Prefer candidates with experience in grocery selection. Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required.

  • 0-2 : At least six months of warehouse experience. Pallet Jack experience preferred.
