Oracle Fusion PPM Subject Matter Expert / Functional Analyst (REMOTE)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion PPM Subject Matter Expert / Functional Analyst to lead the design, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) suite. This role bridges business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating project accounting, costing, billing, and portfolio management requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise across the Fusion PPM modules with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

What You Will Do

Requirements & design: gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Oracle Fusion PPM and translate them into functional designs and configuration specifications.

Configuration: configure and maintain Fusion PPM modules including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, Project Management, Grants Management, and Task/Resource Management.

Subject matter expertise: serve as the go-to expert on PPM processes, best practices, and Oracle Cloud quarterly release features, advising the business on impacts and opportunities.

Integrations: define and manage integrations between PPM and other Fusion modules (Financials, Procurement, HCM) as well as third-party systems, coordinating with technical teams on data flows and reconciliations.

Testing: develop test scripts, lead SIT/UAT cycles, validate configurations against requirements, and manage defect resolution through to sign-off.

Release management: support quarterly Oracle Cloud updates by assessing new features, performing regression testing, and communicating changes to stakeholders.

Production support: provide functional support, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve service tickets within agreed SLAs.

Documentation & training: create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, training materials, and end-user documentation.

Stakeholder collaboration: partner with finance, project delivery, PMO, and IT teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement of PPM processes.

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion / Cloud PPM, including at least one full-cycle implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Cloud PPM certification.

Experiencewith OTBI / BI Publisher reporting and FBDI/ADFdi data loads.

Background in Grants Management or public-sector / government project accounting.

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira.

Prior consulting experience across multiple client environments.
