POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nestle Professional Solutions Grab & Go / Desserts Business is seeking a Sr. Brand Marketing Associate with experience in product management and a track-record of success growing business via impactful go-to-market strategy. This role will develop strategic business and marketing plans and manage the product portfolio to achieve annual financial and business goals, while laying the foundation for future growth of the NPS Grab & Go / Desserts portfolio including brands like Hot Pockets, Stouffer's, DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine, Tombstone, Nestle Toll House, and Libby's.

The Sr. Brand Marketing Associate will play a central role in creating the strategy for profitable business growth, leading portfolio management including renovation & innovation, and developing annual marketing plans. In collaboration with cross functional teams, including sales, commercial development, digital, and finance they will focus on developing and executing the category plans with a strong focus on channel strategy, portfolio management, digital marketing execution and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

CONSUMER / OPERATOR KNOWLEDGE:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the demographics, psychographics, occasions, path to purchase, and behavioral drivers of the business' operators and consumers through data and research to prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Leverage data and trends to generate insights and transform them into marketing innovations, brand building (communications) and go-to-market strategies.

 

 

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:

  • Develop B2B business and marketing strategy for the NPS Grab & Go / Desserts business (NPS Hot Pockets, TOMA, Nestle Frozen Retail Culinary, Nestle Toll House, Libby's portfolios and NPS Bakery strategy) including:
    • Develop communications and sales strategy leveraging industry insights, cross-functional team inputs, and sales data.
    • Develop go-to-market strategy in partnership with commercial development and sales organization to drive growth.
    • Oversee NP Hot Pockets, NTH, Libby's portfolio including P&L management and asset development.
    • Partner with Marketing Innovation Lead and cross-functional teams on development of NPS bakery & handheld platform in accordance with business ICP and MBS plans.
    • Utilize strong strategic and communication skills and ability to assemble and motivate cross-functional teams including channel marketing, PD, R&D, sales, finance and supply chain to accomplish product innovation, renovation, and go-to-market plans.
    • Lead partnership with external agency on marketing and demand generation strategy, asset development and marketing tactical execution.
    • Partner with retail brand teams on new product launches and renovations and relevance for out-of-home.
    • Developing and managing the marketing budget plans to align with business objectives and deliver clear ROI.
    • Distributor marketing: collaborate with cross-functional team to analyze sales data and assess opportunities across distributor outlets, strategy development, and tactical execution.
    • Assess e-commerce opportunities and align with NP digital team on executing a solution.

INNOVATION:

  • Within the context of the division's Innovation / Renovation strategy, support I&R pipeline development based on key consumer, shopper and marketplace data.
  • In collaboration with cross-functional and external experts, lead innovation projects in support of the brand's innovation strategy

Qualifications / Skills

  • Degree (BA/BS) in Marketing or related business field, or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree in business / marketing or MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of budget control methods, policies, and procedures
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently, autonomously, and adapt quickly to change to deliver results.
  • Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Entrepreneur mindset- self-starter, determined, resourceful, action-oriented.
  • Basic financial acumen and the understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong presentation abilities (for external and internal audiences).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience in syndicated data (IRI/Circana) preferred.

Critical Experiences

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management and leading the development of new/existing products or strategies from conception to implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to drive cross-functional teams and agencies to deliver collective brand and business goals.
  • P&L experience and strong planning skills.

The approximate pay range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
