The Job
As Retail Associates, our team members play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences for our customers. They warmly greet and assist customers, provide product recommendations, and maintain a clean and organized space. Our Retail Associates operate cash registers, handle will-call orders, and manage customer waitlists efficiently. They also contribute to store opening and closing tasks, ensuring that the shopping environment is welcoming and well-maintained. With a focus on positive customer interactions, this role essential in delivering outstanding service and representing evo.
- Pay: $19.00-$20.43/hour
- Duration : mid-October through mid-February, with the possibility to extend
- Scheduling requirements : weekend and holiday availability, including Black Friday and the weeks around Christmas; shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

The Opportunity
  • Create positive and memorable customer interactions, in some cases, giving lessons in product use.
  • Warmly greet customers, provide prompt assistance, and offer product recommendations.
  • Keep all customer facing environments clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Operate cash registers and process customer payments.
  • Efficiently handle will-call orders.
  • Manage customer waitlists and communicate estimated wait times.
  • Execute store operations tasks including, but not limited to; inventory receiving and processing, ship from store and product restocking,
  • Learn and develop technical product knowledge and expertise.
  • Educate customers about technical elements of our product, ask strategic questions and support customers in getting the best product for their upcoming adventure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the retail industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
