ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Retail Associate to assist with everything in the retail store in Wheeling, IL & at our off-site pop-up shops at swim meets in the Chicagoland area. This is a part-time position, 4-5 days per week, averaging 20-30 hours per week. Working weekends will be required. The starting pay range is $16 - $19 per hour (based on experience), plus annual reviews with an opportunity for a salary increase.


Kiefer Aquatics is a leader in the competitive swim industry. Our store is part of the swim team / retail division of Kiefer Aquatics, a growing company that currently has 8 stores, and operations in 6 states. We work with a wide variety of swimmers, from youngsters just starting to swim, to highly competitive swimmers!

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities

· Customer service in our retail store and Swim Events

· Merchandise, restock & organize the retail store.

· Ensure retail store is clean & ready for customers.

· Open & close the store as needed.

· Prep all merchandise and other items for swim events.

· Create a restock list for merchandise needed.

· Collaborate with staff to select new merchandise.

· Create visual merchandise displays.

· Contribute to social media posts.

· Check in purchase orders, process outgoing orders.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time 4-5 day per week position with a guarantee of an average of 20-30 hours per week. Typical work hours of Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Working some weekends is required.
