Job Description

L.L.Bean is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team at our Davis Warehouse, located in Freeport, ME.

Position Purpose: Perform daily operations in the Davis Warehouse to include the Retail Customer Pick-Up, receive and process inventory.

Shift availability: Monday- Sunday 8am-6pm


Responsibilities:

Receive and process Retail Store merchandise

  • Receive merchandise from vendor or L.L.Bean trucks, checking the accompanying documents (invoices, P.O. #'s etc.)

  • Generate file tags for each item received (2 part tag)

  • Tag item and stock merchandise in assigned pick location

  • File locator tag in tub file

  • Inventory the received merchandise, completing Key Rec. forms

  • Make tags - tag merchandise

  • Key merchandise into R/S inventory

  • Send merchandise to Retail Store

  • Process DSD product and pick and ships

  • Perform Tub file audits

  • Rearrange stock area; construct shelving as needed

  • Know and follow all safety rules and procedures. Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the proper person

Customer Service Retail Pick Up

  • Receive call from RS salesclerk and check Tub file for item availability

  • Record customers name, and pick merchandise

  • Provide customer carry out and loading assistance

  • Provide World Class Customer service

Assume additional related responsibilities as requested
