Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Driver to support our Appliance Recycling program. In this role, you will operate a 16‑ft box truck to service multiple customer locations each day, working closely with a team to safely deliver and remove large appliances. The ideal candidate is physically capable, customer‑oriented, and flexible with scheduling, including occasional extended days. This position requires working in a variety of environments and weather conditions while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.

  • Safely operate a company‑provided box truck to pick up residential refrigerators and freezers scheduled for recycling.
  • Visit customer homes daily, verify appliance eligibility, and ensure program requirements are met.
  • Safely load, secure, and transport appliances using dollies, straps, and proper lifting techniques.
  • Maneuver and move appliances weighing approximately 150–250 lbs using team‑lifting methods.
  • Transport collected appliances to a warehouse or recycling facility.
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing courteous service and clear communication.
  • Follow safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and company policies at all times.
  • Contribute to environmental sustainability by ensuring appliances are responsibly removed and recycled.

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Comfortable performing physical work, including heavy lifting and repetitive movement.

Targeted Compensation Range

$22/h

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
