Job description

We are a chiropractic office in the Newark, DE area looking for a part time Licensed Massage Therapist. We offer our patients chiropractic treatment and various physical therapy modalities, and many of our patients are benefited by the addition of therapeutic/medical massage to their care plan.

We’re looking for a candidate preferably with experience in the field, but it is not required for the right person. The most important qualities we’re looking for are an active License in Massage Therapy and experience working with patients suffering from spine pain, whether it’s from an injury such as a motor vehicle accident or just from daily repetitive stresses. We also fill the schedule for you, and no scheduling/selling is required on your part. You will be paid regardless of whether or not the schedule is filled.

There are essential duties that this position will require; here are some examples of what to expect:

- Providing therapeutic massage for patients in primarily 15 or 30 minute increments

- Completing post massage notations

- Interacting with massage patients to improve effectiveness of treatment

- Providing recommendations to doctor and staff as necessary based on progress of massage patient

- Some light housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and appearance of massage room
