Experienced Restoration Technician
We are looking for an experienced Restoration Technician to join our growing team.
In this role, you will respond to residential and commercial water, fire, and mold restoration projects and help customers recover from property damage. Responsibilities include water extraction, demolition, structural drying, cleaning, equipment setup and monitoring, and other restoration activities.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of providing excellent service during what can be a stressful time for our customers.
Responsibilities
  • Perform water, fire, mold, and other restoration services according to the project scope and crew chief or project manager instructions
  • Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and structural drying activities
  • Set up, monitor, and remove drying and restoration equipment
  • Inventory and load vehicles with the equipment, products, tools, and supplies needed for each project
  • Prepare and protect work areas before beginning restoration activities
  • Maintain clean and organized company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
  • Document work performed and communicate job progress or concerns to the crew chief or project manager
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, coworkers, adjusters, and other parties on the job site
  • Follow company safety procedures and industry standards
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency restoration services when required

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or related restoration work strongly preferred
  • IICRC certification preferred, particularly WRT and/or ASD
  • Experience performing demolition and operating restoration and drying equipment
  • Commercial restoration experience is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency calls as needed

Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
  • Regularly lift and carry at least 50 pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance
  • Climb ladders and work at ceiling height
  • Work in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and other confined areas
  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
  • Repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry equipment and materials
  • Safely work with cleaning products, antimicrobial products, and other restoration chemicals
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required
  • Travel locally to job sites and occasionally travel outside the immediate service area when necessary
