We value our employees and offer competitive pay and exceptional benefits.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OPERATIONAL TRAINING SUPERVISORAs an Operational Training Supervisor, you will develop and maintain current working knowledge of relevant trends and developments in utilities. This includes coordinating field training opportunities, verifying skill development, tracking certifications, reviewing documentation, and providing coaching that helps apprentices advance toward becoming fully qualified Journey Lineworkers. The Operational Training Supervisor also conducts safety audits, field observations, and jobsite evaluations to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with Cooperative policies, OSHA regulations, NESC standards, and industry best practices.Beyond training and safety, this position helps shape the future of DEC operations by leading initiatives related to new equipment, tools, and technologies. The supervisor collaborates across departments, manages operational training records and compliance requirements, supports outage restoration efforts when needed. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OPERATIONAL TRAINING SUPERVISORCompleted an approved Lineman Apprenticeship Program or its equivalent.Graduated from an accredited high school or successfully passing a high school equivalence test.Preferred Associates degree with supervisory experience.Must have a minimum of six (6) years progressively responsible experience involving the following: construction, maintenance, and operations of distribution lines and related apparatus or metering.Preferred Cooperative/Electric utility experience.READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?We understand your time is valuable, so we have a very quick and easy application process.
