- Open doors for customers whenever possible. Make guests feel welcome with a smile and sincerity.Â
- Keep track of the wait list and quote wait times accurately.Â
- Be aware of the progress of tables in the dining room and make sure tables are being greeted promptly upon seating.Â
- Engage in conversation with customers while escorting them to their table.Â
- Maintain cleanliness in the lobby and an organized host stand. Keep track of the rotation sheet and how many tables each server has to ensure customers are getting excellent service.
