Hudson Restaurant Group is hiring Restaurant Directors to lead shifts and take ownership of one of four critical areas of the restaurant:

  • Hospitality
  • Quality
  • Training
  • Drive-Thru

Your specific area will be determined based on your experience, strengths and the restaurant’s leadership needs. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can develop team members, maintain high standards and take ownership of results.

What You’ll Do

Every Restaurant Director is expected to:

  • Lead restaurant shifts and support daily operations
  • Coach team members and hold the team accountable to established standards
  • Provide friendly, enthusiastic service to every guest
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, accuracy and speed
  • Help recruit, onboard, train and retain team members
  • Complete assigned daily, weekly and monthly operating responsibilities
  • Monitor performance in your area and develop plans to improve results
  • Communicate staffing, equipment and operational needs to restaurant leadership
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized restaurant
  • Support other areas of the restaurant when needed
  • Set a positive example by demonstrating urgency, teamwork and professionalism

Director AreasHospitality Director

The Hospitality Director owns the guest experience and front-of-house standards.

  • Coach the team on friendly, attentive and accurate service
  • Ensure guests are promptly greeted, assisted and thanked
  • Monitor guest feedback and help resolve concerns
  • Maintain dining room, restroom and exterior cleanliness
  • Reinforce suggestive selling, order accuracy and brand standards
  • Create a culture in which every guest feels welcomed and appreciated
Quality Director

The Quality Director owns food quality, food safety and back-of-house execution.

  • Ensure all food is prepared according to Zaxby’s recipes and quality standards
  • Monitor food safety, holding times, temperatures and sanitation procedures
  • Coach the kitchen team on proper preparation and station execution
  • Help manage inventory, food costs, waste and product variance
  • Maintain clean, safe and organized kitchen and storage areas
  • Ensure equipment and maintenance concerns are promptly reported
Training Director

The Training Director owns team-member onboarding, training and development.

  • Coordinate onboarding and initial training for new team members
  • Ensure training plans and required certifications are completed
  • Coach trainers and verify that training is effective and consistent
  • Support the rollout of new products, promotions and procedures
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate additional training
  • Help develop team members for future leadership opportunities
Drive-Thru Director

The Drive-Thru Director owns drive-thru speed, accuracy and hospitality.

  • Lead drive-thru execution during peak business periods
  • Coach team members on speed, accuracy, communication and friendliness
  • Monitor drive-thru performance and implement improvement plans
  • Ensure positions are properly deployed and the team is prepared for volume
  • Maintain drive-thru equipment, organization and readiness
  • Create a fast, accurate and welcoming experience for every drive-thru guest
