Position: Server Assistant
Job Overview:
Our Server Assistants provide friendly, courteous, and professional service for every guest visiting Love Street. The service must be remarkable while remaining quick and efficient. The perfect candidate will have a very high standard of personal appearance and demonstrate the ability to build loyalty within the venues at Love Street. Our Server Assistants are responsible for maintaining or exceeding all venue goals in regards to guest service, safety and sanitation, and cost control methods.
Reports to: All Managers, with a dotted line to the Director of Operations
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The Guest
Provide genuine, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests
Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service, and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems
Provide guests the water selection chosen and maintain full glasses throughout their experience.
Assist Service team in maintaining table cleanliness throughout the guest experience
Assist in providing and refilling hot and cold beverages per guest request.
Assist Food Runners in delivering items when support is needed
The Property
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with a team to uphold brand standards
Provide the highest quality dining experience, all while maintaining the overall appearance of the guest-facing areas of the restaurant.
Follow all company guidelines and procedures including but not limited to safety and sanitation. Abide by proper cleaning and sanitation procedures, operate equipment in a safe and focused way, and complete any necessary reports while providing exceptional service to ensure a positive and lasting guest impression
Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.
Execute various side work duties to prepare dining areas for guest service.
Stock service supplies and alert management if any items are low or out of stock.
Oversee all guest-facing areas in regards to debris inside and outside the venues
Set and reset dining room tables as needed and directed by fellow team members and Managers in a fast, efficient way
Maintain clean floors, furniture, and guest-facing areas before, during, and after guest arrival and departure.
Maintain clean floors in all Culinary service areas
Stock and restock service stations, including all silverware, linen, and glassware.
Remove trash and soiled linen to appropriate receptacles in a timely fashion at determined times and/or as needed
Maintain a clean guest and employee bathroom, checking every 15 minutes.

Must abide by shift operating hours as scheduled and assigned by the Restaurant Manager, attending all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
Ensure every item is controlled and held correctly. All product follows FIFO regulations and is at the proper temperature controls.
Always be guest facing to protect the restaurant from theft and accidents
