Restaurant Server – Lila’s

Location: Lila’s Restaurant (Hampton Inn & Suites)

Status: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager


Position Summary

The Restaurant Server is responsible for delivering attentive, efficient, and friendly service to guests while ensuring a positive dining experience. Servers act as key ambassadors of the Lila’s brand, providing menu guidance, accurate order execution, and consistent hospitality in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform opening and closing side work according to established checklists.
  • Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide food and beverage recommendations.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
  • Serve food and beverages following presentation and service standards.
  • Monitor guest experience throughout the meal and respond promptly to requests.
  • Accurately process orders, handle payments, and complete transactions using POS systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and current offerings.
  • Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables as needed.
  • Support cleanliness and organization of the dining room and surrounding areas.
  • Provide guests with information regarding restaurant hours, hotel amenities, and services.
  • Assist with reservations, seating, and phone coverage as needed.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards.


Qualifications

  • 3–6 months of restaurant or guest service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Basic POS system knowledge preferred.
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


Physical Requirements
