About the Role:

As General Manager of our Burlington location, you'll own every aspect of the restaurant: building and leading a strong team, delivering a premium guest experience, and driving the financial success of the location. You'll be the person who sets the tone on the floor and makes Burlington a place both guests and staff love to be.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth table service and consistently high standards in guest experience, product quality, and efficiency.
  • Hire, train, coach, and motivate your team; oversee onboarding, scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing development.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and ordering, with strong controls over waste and shrink.
  • Own the location's financial performance, including sales, food cost, and labour.
  • Deliver outstanding hospitality: respond to guest feedback, resolve concerns, and understand what drives guest loyalty.
  • Partner with head office and marketing to bring local promotions and campaigns to life.
  • Uphold food safety, health, and workplace safety standards across the restaurant.
  • Support special projects across the broader Demetres organization as opportunities arise.

Your Skills and Experiences:

  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in hospitality or food service (full-service or table-service restaurant experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; a track record of building and motivating diverse teams.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to premium guest experiences.
  • Solid financial and operational acumen; comfortable owning inventory, food cost, and labour.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
