Located in the heart of Calvados, the town of Bretteville-sur-Laize has around 2,000 inhabitants and is engaged in a dynamic policy of communication, culture, and local animation. In collaboration with the relevant elected officials, you will participate in the promotion of municipal actions, the development of cultural projects, and the animation of local life.

This multifaceted and cross-functional role will require you to work in conjunction with all municipal services, local associations, institutional partners, service providers, and residents.

• Define and implement the municipality's communication actions.

• Design, write, and produce print and digital communication materials (posters, flyers, brochures, municipal bulletins, guides, etc.).

• Manage the editorial content of the website, social media, and information tools for residents.

• Create written, photographic, and video content to promote municipal actions.

• Ensure the consistency of the municipality's visual identity and support its application across various media.

• Participate in the development and monitoring of the municipal cultural program.

• Organize and coordinate municipal events, cultural events, exhibitions, and official ceremonies.

• Manage administrative, budgetary, and logistical aspects of events.

• Handle relationships with artists, participants, associations, and service providers.

• Contribute to the development of cultural and local partnerships.

• Prepare and monitor budgets related to communication, culture, and the media library.

• Provide administrative follow-up on files, agreements, and partnerships.

• Develop monitoring tools and activity reports.

Required qualifications: You hold a degree in communication or a related field and have at least five years of professional experience in the field of communication.

Skills:

• Mastery of print and digital communication techniques.

• Proficiency in graphic design and layout tools (Adobe Suite and Canva).

• Expertise in social media and digital communication tools (Capcut and Meta Business).

• Strong writing skills.

• Budget management and monitoring.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Skills in organizing and coordinating events with various stakeholders.

• Ability to analyze actions taken and produce reports.

• Knowledge of the local territorial environment and the functioning of a local authority is appreciated.
