Job description

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at our acute care hospital, you will deliver essential respiratory care through both routine and critical interventions. You will manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and utilize advanced respiratory technology. Supported by a collaborative team and experienced mentors, you will have opportunities for professional growth through regular training and certification support, all within a consistent rotating schedule of day and night shifts including weekends.


Required Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in respiratory therapy
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
  • Proficiency in mechanical ventilation and pulmonary function testing
  • Skilled in arterial blood gas analysis and patient monitoring
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
