What is resource management?

Resource management is the process of planning, allocating, and overseeing an organization's resources—such as personnel, equipment, budget, and time—to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency. Effective resource management helps organizations deliver projects on time, avoid resource shortages or excesses, and maximize productivity.

Addressing these challenges requires strong communication skills to negotiate resource allocations, the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making, and flexibility to adjust plans as organizational needs evolve. Building strong relationships with project managers and team leads also helps facilitate smoother collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
