Job Summary:

The Hotel Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and pristine condition of our luxury resort facilities, guest accommodations, event spaces, and outdoor amenities. This hands-on position involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to support exceptional guest service and uphold Foxhall's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, villas, lodges, public areas, and back-of-house spaces (e.g., painting, caulking, minor drywall, plumbing fixes, and furniture touch-ups).

Respond promptly to guest requests and work orders for issues like leaky faucets, HVAC adjustments, lighting, doors/locks, and appliance troubleshooting.

Maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, pools, and emergency systems (e.g., generators, fire safety equipment).

Conduct inspections and light maintenance on exterior grounds, event venues, sporting facilities, and recreational areas.

Assist with event setups, breakdowns, and seasonal preparations across the 1,100-acre property.

Keep detailed logs of maintenance activities, inventory, and safety compliance.

Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school certification preferred.

1–3 years of experience in hotel/resort maintenance, facilities engineering, or general building trades (handyman experience considered).

Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and basic mechanical systems.

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work outdoors in varying weather, and perform tasks in confined spaces.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (property is expansive; golf carts/gator vehicles may be used).

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused mindset.

Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in HVAC (EPA), pool operation (CPO), or electrical.

Experience in luxury hospitality or large property maintenance.
