Responsibilities

  • Cleans and maintains all guest access areas, restrooms, storage areas, hallways, stairwells, and vending rooms to ensure a safe and clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Cleans RV Resort common area and employee restrooms and replenishes supplies.
  • Maintains and cleans the yurts to ensure a safe and clean experience for guests.
  • Prepare and maintain cleaning cart with supplies for efficiency and ease of cleaning yurts.
  • Respects guest privacy and maintains confidentiality.
  • Vacuums and/or sweeps all floor surfaces in common indoor areas.
  • Removes trash from all guest access areas and back of house.
  • Strips bed of all linens and remakes with fresh linens.
  • Sorts, pre-treats, washes, dries, folds, and delivers Resort linens.
  • Ensures washers and dryers operate properly and informs management or maintenance of any malfunctions or problems.
  • Keep laundry area clean and maintain linen cart and supplies in a neat and organized manner.
  • Label and submit all lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain orderliness and stock in supply rooms. 
  • Makes sure Clubhouse mirrors, furniture, floors, pool area and doors are clean and mark-free.
  • Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilets, sink, mirrors and walls in order to have a clean and sanitary guest restroom.
  • Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature for arriving guests.
  • Wipe down closet (door, handle and shelves) and restocking the guest room supplies.
  • Inspects door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and immediately alerts security to an unsecured or unsafe situation for the safety of guests and employees.
  • Document any deficiencies, including mechanical and electrical problems from the guest’s room and report to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Responds to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Attends all mandatory department and/or training meetings.
  • Follows all department policies, procedures, and regulations as required.
  • Ensures control/protection of company assets as applicable.
  • Must provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills required.
  • One to three months experience in the hospitality/cleaning field preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license with the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Must provide signed release allowing the company to obtain driving abstract in order to show proof of good driving record.
  • Must be able to be insured to drive company or customer vehicles by the company insurance carrier.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires the ability to walk, bend, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning with well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis and have the ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally.  The position requires time indoors and outdoors regularly throughout the day.  Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and visual acuity. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
