We are seeking a Bartender to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.


Role Summary:

The Bartender will be responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and meals to guests, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, maintaining stock/supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment. The ideal candidate is a driver of Forbes standards and will exemplify the values and beliefs of Eau Resort & Spa.

We have a full-time position available.

This role is a flexible position (AM/PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and nights.

This role is designated for our lobby restaurant, Stir.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • One-year(s) experience as a Bartender or Bar back.
  • Food Handling Certificate.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • High school graduate, some college. (desired)
  • Certification in alcohol awareness program. (desired)
  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service. (desired)

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when preparing drinks and providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus on details.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in determining potentially intoxicated guests.
  • Ability to maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly.
  • Ability to exert strong physical effort in transporting cases of liquor and beer kegs from storeroom to bar.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
