  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Participate in supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest practices in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and eating disorders. Our patient population reflects the rich cultural diversity of Chula Vista, necessitating a culturally competent and inclusive therapeutic approach. Your role will involve actively listening to clients' stories, understanding their lived experiences, and helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience with a diverse client base.
  • In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and ethical frameworks.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, particularly with a focus on culturally relevant practices.
  • Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress clinical situations effectively.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate client documentation and healthcare processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a capacity to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
