Repair Technician – Residential Roofing

Location: Coastal North Carolina
Company: Fortitude Roofing
Job Type: Full-Time (1099 transitioning to W-2)
Compensation: $52,000 – $78,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Saturdays as needed

Fortitude Roofing is hiring a Residential Roofing Repair Technician to perform shingle and metal roof repairs, service maintenance plan clients, and support our growing repair division. This role is ideal for an experienced roofing technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, documentation, and professional homeowner communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform residential roofing repairs, including:

    • Shingle repair and replacement

    • Roof leak detection and repair

    • Flashing repair and replacement

    • Pipe boot replacement

    • Storm damage roof repairs

  • Service recurring roof maintenance plan clients

  • Inspect residential roofs and assess roof conditions

  • Document roof conditions using photos, notes, and reports

  • Fabricate metal trim and flashing

  • Operate metal panel fabrication equipment

  • Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding findings and repairs

  • Use roofing technology including drones, CompanyCam, and JobNimbus

  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance on all job sites

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Monday through Friday

  • Saturdays as needed based on demand

  • Work performed across our residential service territory

  • Company-provided vehicle for work-related tasks

Compensation & Employment Structure
  • $52,000 – $78,000 annual compensation, based on experience and performance

  • Starts as 1099, with a planned transition to W-2
