Job description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver/Mover to safely operate a 26-foot box truck while leading or assisting a moving crew on residential and commercial moves. This position requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle customers' belongings. Experience driving a 26-foot box truck is required. Common responsibilities include safe truck operation, pre- and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading household goods, protecting furniture, and providing a professional customer experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the 26' box truck safely and efficiently to various locations
  • Load and unload household goods, office equipment, and fragile items
  • Handle moving equipment responsibly to prevent damage
  • Manage time effectively to meet scheduling demands
  • Interact professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries
  • Collaborate as part of a moving crew and with an assigned mover partner
  • Perform regular heavy lifting and maintain physical fitness standards

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record (must be insurable by the company's insurance carrier).
  • Experience driving a 26-foot box truck required.
