Join a fast-growing home services company under the 45-year-old South West Plumbing brand. We handle a variety of residential electrical work, including rewires, security systems, whole-home lighting, and troubleshooting electrical issues. Our apprentice program is designed to give aspiring electricians the hands-on experience they need to grow in the trade while working alongside experienced professionals.

Requirements

  • Assist both Service and Install Electricians with various electrical tasks, including rewires, security system setups, lighting installations, panel upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Support the Electrician in ensuring all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Learn and apply residential electrical installation and service techniques, receiving on-the-job training to enhance your skill set.
  • Track and organize materials for each job, ensuring proper documentation for project costing and completion.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Shadow Electricians during customer visits, gaining insight into technical problem-solving and customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to supplement hands-on learning and classroom knowledge.
  • Communicate with team members and customers professionally, as directed by the Electrician.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Strong interest in becoming a licensed Electrician (EL01/EL02) in Washington state.
  • Eagerness to learn residential electrical work and apply electrical code in real-world situations.
