Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to perform and oversee residential and commercial construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate is capable of reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints, laying out building spaces, and completing high-quality carpentry installations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Lay out building spaces and coordinate work according to project plans.
  • Install millwork, doors, frames, and hardware.
  • Ensure installations meet applicable building codes and project specifications.
  • Perform residential and commercial carpentry, renovation, and finish work.
  • Coordinate and oversee projects from start through completion.
  • Troubleshoot field conditions and resolve construction issues.
  • Maintain quality, safety, and project schedules.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of carpentry/construction experience, including experience running projects.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction.
  • Experience with millwork, doors, frames, and hardware installation.
  • Ability to independently read and work from construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and construction standards.
  • Licensed builder preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
