Position Summary
The RCA provides direct care and support to residents, promoting comfort, independence, and dignity. You will assist with personal care, dining, activities, and housekeeping while creating meaningful connections with residents, families, and the care team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services professionally and compassionately
  • Document care accurately and completely
  • Review and prepare shift change logs; communicate key information to incoming staff
  • Alert licensed nurses to changes in resident condition or needs
  • Respond appropriately to emergency call systems
  • Follow proper procedures for Self-Administered Medication Management
  • Assess resident capabilities and provide assistance as needed
  • Support dining, housekeeping, and activity programs
  • Assist relatives, guests, and visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and positive environment
  • Take a team approach, support coworkers and collaborate effectively
  • Complete all required annual in-service training
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures

Qualifications
  • Current Nursing Assistant certification OR completion of a Certified Home Health Aide program
  • Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of seniors
  • Patience, compassion, and respect for all residents
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a committed, united team
