Overview

We are currently seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in ALABAMA. This locum tenens position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting. Ideal candidates will be board-certified with previous experience in pediatric hospital medicine.

Job Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Hospitalist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient care on the nursery and pediatric floors
  • Conducting routine and emergency procedures as required
  • Serving as the primary physician on duty, with one physician on at a time
  • Documenting patient encounters accurately using the EMR systems Medimobile and Cerner
  • Collaborating with medical students and occasionally family medicine residents
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
  • Experience as a Pediatrician in a hospital setting - REQUIRED
  • Active Alabama License and DEA - REQUIRED
  • Clean Background - REQUIRED
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS - REQUIRED
  • Compact License accepted
