The Marketing Research Analyst will play a key role in shaping our marketing strategy to attract new customers, increase brand recognition, and ultimately grow the company.

This position reports to our Marketing Director of Marketing and is in office, located in Calgary, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Segment the target audience and determine the appropriate markets to be approached
  • Compile customers references and feedback and analyze the data to pull out takeaways and recommendations
  • Prepare detailed reports on customer experience, market trends, and competitors outcomes
  • Gather information and examine buyer and industry trends to help develop successful marketing plans
  • Analyze competitive market strategies by examining the trends, markets, and products they have in common
  • Communicate with customers, competitors, professional organizations, and suppliers in order to get information on the industrys trends
  • Collect business intelligence data from industry reports and partnered sources to identify market trends and economic patterns
  • Delimit the target audience to which products or services will be sold
  • Design questionnaires and implement surveys to identify the target audience
  • Identify and monitor competitors and potential markets
  • Prepare and present detailed marketing strategies and reports on key findings
  • Provide recommendations for future tactics to leadership

Education
