We publish educational and psychological assessments that help professionals screen, diagnose, and support people in need.
As a Research Assistant, you will support large-scale research projects that help bring clinical assessments to publication. You will work closely with the Research Manager, Senior Director of Research Operations, Project Directors, Psychometrics, and fellow RAs to keep data collection, scoring, tracking, and documentation moving forward with care and accuracy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Coordinate Research Projects
โข Prepare launch materials and project documents
โข Build and update forms in survey platforms
โข Track nationwide data collection progress
โข Support and communicate with data collectors
Manage Data Carefully
โข Process, enter, score, and quality-check data
โข Maintain Excel and Smartsheet tracking tools
โข Review scoring consensus with other RAs
โข Support exports, cleaning, and summaries
Support Publication Readiness
โข Assist with APA-style manuscript preparation
โข Help develop independent study materials
โข Summarize participant and customer experiences
โข Complete related administrative support
HOW YOU WILL GROW
By the End of Year One
โข Become comfortable with data scoring, data tracking, and quality checks
โข Build confidence communicating with data collectors and project partners
โข Understand project psychometric needs and research workflows
Year Two and Beyond
โข Own data collection project coordination more independently
โข Help train and support newer Research Assistants
โข Partner more deeply with Project Directors and Data Collection Specialists
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
โข Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field required.
โข Strong organization, prioritization, time management, and attention to detail.
โข Clear written and verbal communication skills with a professional and collaborative presence.
โข Microsoft Office experience required, especially Excel.
โข Team-oriented, positive, curious, and comfortable balancing multiple project details.
STRONG SIGNALS
โข Past research experience or exposure to psychological, educational, clinical, or assessment-related work.
โข Experience with APA style formatting.
โข Experience with SPSS, R, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Excel, or Smartsheet.
โข Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
