Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Research Project Manager, you will provide comprehensive oversight and leadership for the successful delivery of pre-clinical and clinical research projects, managing them from initiation to close-out. You are responsible for ensuring assigned research activities meet their strategic objectives.
Every day you will meticulously manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resources for assigned trial(s), actively mitigating risks. This includes adept management of outside clinical sites, vendors, and all study meeting planning and execution.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of research methodologies and regulations. Your ability to manage multiple complex projects, drive collaboration, and consistently deliver high-quality results will be foundational.

  • Work in conjunction with leadership to analyze and determine ongoing business opportunities and goals.
  • Develop project plans/schedules that represent the appropriate level of detail and task interdependency.
  • Manage change and/or conflicts within projects in an effective and timely manner.
  • Provide leadership in process improvement and other activities in cooperation with department leadership.
  • Manage expectations and relationships between multiple departments and organizations.
  • Facilitate project meetings.

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or five (5) years of related experience in lieu of the degree
  • Two (2) years of project management experience or two (2) years of clinical research experience
