Pay Range: $34.79 - $44.10 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Registered Dietitian in Somerville, NJ.  

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Nutrition or equivalent
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor s Degree in Nutrition or equivalent required
  • 1 year with eating disorder preferred
  • CEDRD certified eating disorder registered dietitian required

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Registered Dietitian with CDR- Required 

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift 
  • Per Diem Schedule (some weekends and holidays)

Essential Functions:

  • In this per diem, as needed, position you will participate as part of the multidisciplinary care team by providing evidence-based nutrition care and medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients using an all foods fit, weight inclusive Health at Every Size approach
  • Provide individual nutrition therapy/education, group counseling/education and participate in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans
  • Participate with Nutrition Coordinator to provide nutrition-related and/or meal monitoring training to non-RD staff
  • Assists with additional projects as assigned including those related to program development/improvement, policies, procedures, and quality assurance monitoring
