About Bering Straits Native Corporation

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) was formed as a result of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) in 1972. BSNC became the regional Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) for the Bering Strait region, which encompasses the majority of the Seward Peninsula and the coastal lands of eastern Norton Sound. This is one of the most culturally diverse regions in the state. Three distinct Native languages are spoken: St. Lawrence Island Yupik, Central Yup’ik, and Inupiaq.

About this position: Treasury and Executive Support Associate Location – Anchorage, AK

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

TREASURY OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Banking and Treasury Administration

  • Process approved bank-account, authorized-signer, and Treasury-management service requests.
  • Administer bank-portal users and entitlements.
  • Support periodic bank-access reviews and authorized-signer changes.
  • Prepare bank forms, compliance documentation, vendor credit applications, and bank-reference letters.
  • Support banking research and issue resolution.
  • Maintain inventories of bank accounts, signers, portals, users, services, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with Treasury reports, operational analyses, process improvements, and automation.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for assigned Treasury activities.
  • Provide backup support for designated Treasury functions.

Card Program Administration

  • Administer assigned aspects of the corporate purchasing card and fuel-card programs.
  • Provide support for cardholder issues, including declined transactions, suspected fraud, and lost cards.
  • Process approved card issuances, cancellations, limit changes, and hierarchy changes.
  • Maintain accurate program records and provide cardholder and approver training.
  • Prepare card-program reports and support periodic reviews and system implementations.

EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Provide administrative support to the CFO and designated members of executive leadership.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel arrangements, meeting materials, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other executive documents.
  • Coordinate information and activities between executive leadership and internal departments.
  • Support executive research, special projects, expense documentation, and other administrative needs.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: Associate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, office administration, or a related field and two years of relevant experience; or
  • High school diploma or equivalent and four years of progressively responsible experience in Treasury, banking, accounting, card administration, financial operations, executive administration, or related field.
  • Level of Experience Requirements: Experience managing multiple assignments and handling confidential information.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage urgent requests, recurring deadlines, and longer-term assignments.
