Research Associate Remote information

What is a research associate remote?

Research Associates (Remote) are professionals who support research projects and activities from a location outside of a traditional office or laboratory, typically working from home. Their responsibilities often include data collection, literature reviews, data analysis, and assisting in the preparation of reports or publications. Remote Research Associates use digital tools to collaborate with research teams, ensuring project goals are met efficiently. This role is common in academic, scientific, market research, and corporate settings, offering flexibility while maintaining rigorous research standards.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a research associate remote?

To thrive as a Research Associate (Remote), you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a relevant degree (such as in science, social sciences, or a related field). Familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python), literature databases, and research management tools is typically required. Excellent written communication, self-motivation, and time management are vital soft skills for collaborating effectively and meeting deadlines while working remotely. These skills ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely completion of research projects in a virtual environment.

How do research associates remote typically collaborate with their teams and principal investigators?

Remote Research Associates frequently use digital collaboration tools such as video conferencing, project management software, and shared document platforms to stay connected with their teams and principal investigators. Regular virtual meetings and clear communication protocols are essential to ensure everyone is aligned on research objectives, data collection, and analysis progress. While remote work offers flexibility, it also requires strong self-motivation and proactive communication to overcome the lack of in-person supervision and maintain productivity. Building rapport and seeking feedback through scheduled check-ins can help address challenges and foster a collaborative team environment.

What is the difference between Research Associate Remote vs Research Assistant?

Research Assistants are often entry-level, supporting research activities, and may work on-site or remotely. Both roles are common in academic and research settings, but Research Associate Remote roles typically involve greater responsibility and specialization.

A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in the North Atlanta suburbs is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys owning cases, advocating for clients, and seeing matters through trial when necessary. You'll join a collaborative, family-oriented firm where your work is valued, your results are rewarded, and your long-term growth is limited only by your ambition.

What You'll Do as the Litigation Associate Attorney:

  • Manage a caseload of litigated personal injury matters from filing through resolution or trial
  • Develop litigation strategy while aggressively advocating for clients throughout the legal process
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and trial-related filings
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations
  • Prepare and try cases when necessary to maximize client outcomes
  • Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and case strategy throughout litigation
  • Coordinate with experts, medical providers, investigators, and support staff
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients while providing trusted legal guidance
  • Build strong professional relationships with opposing counsel, judges, and court personnel
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on professionalism, accountability, and winning cases

Must-Haves as the Litigation Associate Attorney:

  • Active Georgia Bar license in good standing
  • 5+ years of personal injury or civil litigation experience
  • Demonstrated courtroom, deposition, mediation, and trial experience
  • Strong written advocacy and legal research skills
  • Experience independently managing litigation files from inception through resolution
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
  • Stable employment history with meaningful ownership of prior cases
  • Strong work ethic and genuine passion for representing injured clients

Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Associate Attorney:

  • Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
  • Medical malpractice or premises liability experience
  • Prior experience with a District Attorney's Office, U.S. Attorney's Office, insurance defense firm, or established plaintiff firm
  • Spanish or another second language
  • Active involvement with Georgia legal organizations
  • Existing courtroom experience throughout the greater Atlanta area

This Role Offers:

  • Base salary of $145,000-$175,000 based on experience
  • Exceptional case-based bonus program with realistic total compensation potential of $300,000+
  • Premium health insurance
  • 401(k)
  • One remote workday per week
  • Negotiable PTO
  • Collaborative, family-oriented culture that values professionalism, diversity, maturity, and strong work ethic
  • Direct access to firm leadership with significant autonomy and responsibility
  • Long-term career growth with the opportunity to become a key member of a rapidly growing litigation practice
