PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • Each intern is assigned a primary project to analyze and assess the investment attractiveness of a small industry group
  • This requires preparing an industry overview as well as analyzing the investment attractiveness of 1-2 companies within the industry
  • The expectation is that our interns provide investment insight, not just number crunching
  • The Internship may also involve smaller equity research related projects including industry, company and product related research to give broad exposure over the summer
  • The goal of the internship is to evaluate the associate's potential to return after graduation for our full-time Associate Analyst program. Rising juniors will be eligible for return internship offers for the following summer pending strong performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum sophomore status at accredited four-year university with a 3.5 or higher GPA
  • Strong academic background and intellectual curiosity
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and with others
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong interest in the markets and investing preferred
