Responsibilities

The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology seeks a mid-career to senior hematologist specializing in lymphoma and cellular therapies to join and help expand the Mayo Clinic Arizona Cellular, Molecular and Bispecific (CMB) Therapies Program. Candidates should hold or be eligible for Associate Professor rank or higher and ideally have established peer-reviewed funding.

This role includes participation in a multidisciplinary lymphoma clinic, development and leadership of clinical trials, mentorship of trainees and junior faculty, and recruitment of future colleagues. The successful candidate will build a nationally and internationally recognized academic practice while driving innovation across the spectrum of lymphoma care.

Cancer care at Mayo Clinic is delivered collaboratively across Arizona, Florida, and Minnesota, providing access to enterprise-wide resources, including more than 250 hematologists and oncologists, over 2,000 faculty involved in cancer care, CORE research facilities, pathology, and integrated clinical data systems. The Lymphoma Cancer Program actively participates in the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, the NCI Experimental Therapeutics-Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN), and multiple industry-sponsored and international collaborative studies.

Mayo Clinic maintains a strategic alliance with Arizona State University (ASU), formalized in 2016 through the Mayo Clinic and ASU Alliance for Health Care. This collaboration spans biomedical research, digital health, workforce development, and medical technology. The nearby ASU Health Futures Center and the developing Discovery Oasis biotechnology corridor-on 250 acres adjacent to Mayo Clinic-further strengthen research and innovation opportunities. Faculty may hold adjunct ASU appointments and collaborate with ASU trainees.
