As a Software Engineer, you'll design, develop, test, and maintain mission-critical software throughout the full development lifecycle. Working alongside talented engineers in an agile environment, you'll help deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions that meet rigorous industry, customer, and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software applications and system integrations.

  • Translate customer and system requirements into scalable software designs and architectures.

  • Develop, enhance, and optimize software products using modern development practices.

  • Create and maintain software documentation, including architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and design specifications.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Support system integration, user inquiries, and technical issue resolution.

  • Implement emerging technologies, development tools, and software engineering best practices.

  • Contribute to software process improvements, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in software research and development projects.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Typically 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

  • Experience developing software in C++, Ada 95, and Java.

  • Experience working within Agile development environments.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Passion for learning new technologies and solving complex engineering challenges.

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree from an ABET-accredited program.

  • Recent experience developing production-level software applications.

  • Experience delivering products across multiple technology stacks.

  • Knowledge of software architecture, systems integration, and software lifecycle management.

  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or aviation.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
