Job Description Senior Software Developer (Trading Services) Seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and build systems that support firmwide positions, PnL, and risk services. These systems transform high-volume trading and market data into accurate, timely, and actionable information. The ideal candidate enjoys building performance-sensitive distributed systems and has a strong commitment to reliability and sound software design.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with traders, strategy developers, and fellow engineers to develop infrastructure that is central to the firm's daily operations. Primary Responsibilities: Designing and building real-time position, PnL and risk services with strict latency requirements Developing high performance, highly available distributed systems capable of scaling to millions of events per second Architecting and implementing reliable, fault-tolerant messaging systems and data pipelines Optimizing and tuning distributed systems for performance, scalability, and resiliency Partnering with trading and execution teams to support evolving business needs Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of experience developing high-performance distributed systems Strong proficiency in modern C++(C++11/14/17) including multithreading, lock-free programming, and memory model expertise Experience working with high message-rate or high-bandwidth systems Proven ability to design fault-tolerant, highly available systems Strong experience with relational database design and SQL (Postgress preferred) Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, and sockets) Experience with debugging and observability tools such as GDB, Wireshark and tcpdump Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across trading, research, and engineering teams
