Job description

Who We Are

Trusscore is a material science company for sustainable building materials. We are revolutionizing the way people build, with the ultimate vision of creating a market-leading, sustainable, branded, true painted-drywall alternative. Trusscore invests heavily in R&D to discover breakthroughs in materials and manufacturing processes, advancing the state of the art in science and technology along the way.

Become part of a passionate, innovative team focused on reshaping the future of building materials. We offer a dynamic, flexible work environment, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and the chance to make a tangible impact in an established, fast-growing company with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

Your Mission

Trusscore is seeking a mid-level full-stack developer to help build, standardize and scale our data and automation internal application ecosystem. Our ecosystem consists of front-end interfaces, backend services, and third-party enterprise applications working seamlessly to support manufacturing operations to bring it up to industry 5.0 standards.

As part of a highly skilled, cross-functional team, your mission is to build modern internal applications that are secure, intuitive, and production-ready. You will create and maintain the front-end and back-end foundations of our internal tools, standardize reusable UI elements based on the Trusscore brand, and ensure our applications integrate effectively with the company's other systems and services.

As a technology leader within your domain, you will work across the software lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, authentication and authorization, application consolidation design, deployment automation, and rolled-out application support. You will help define shared engineering standards for internal applications, including CI/CD workflows, testing approaches, and sustainability expectations.

You will contribute directly, collaborate closely with other developers and business stakeholders, and help port proof-of-concept applications into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions. You won't simply be building applications, you would help define UI/UX wireframing, information architecture, and page flows that will power the next generation of Trusscore's smart manufacturing initiative.

This role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on execution alongside a collaborative team. You will leverage your expertise in full-stack development while further strengthening your skills in internal platform architecture, authentication, cloud deployment, systems integration, and product-quality delivery. Your success will be measured by the quality, reliability, usability, and timeliness with which you drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of front-end and back-end application features and provide technical leadership and support to other team members for the projects to which you are assigned.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand process workflows, identify application needs, define technical requirements, and balance trade-offs among scope, usability, speed, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
  • Standardize reusable UI components, layouts, wireframes and interaction patterns across internal applications so they align with Trusscore brand guidelines and create a consistent user experience for both developers and application users.
  • Architect and implement secure authentication and authorization for internal applications, including single sign-on, role-based access, session management, and integration with Azure identity provider or equivalent.
  • Build and maintain integrations, APIs, routes, and service connections that allow internal applications to work seamlessly with other company tools, data sources, and services.
  • Create and improve standard deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, release workflows, automated checks, and rollback strategies to support reliable software delivery.
  • Partner with developers to harden proof-of-concept applications for production by improving code structure, test coverage, performance, error handling, security, logging, and observability.
  • Participate in and lead architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and documentation efforts to promote high engineering standards and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive improvements to increase application reliability and development speed.
  • You may be required to support other departments with software or systems initiatives from time to time, including internal platform modernization, workflow automation, or shared services development.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience building and deploying full-stack web applications in production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and maintaining secure, reliable applications used by internal or external business users.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript or equivalent framework, and strong experience with at least one back-end technology stack such as Node.js, Python or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with building responsive, component-based UI with modern front-end frameworks such as React or equivalent.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs or service-to-service connections across multiple systems.
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization patterns such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, or equivalent enterprise access models. Experience and close familiarity with using AI tools, agents and APIs to optimize work flows, processes and prototyping
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud or containerized environments (Docker) and familiarity with monitoring, logging, and debugging production systems.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, data modeling, system design, performance optimization, and maintainable code structure.
  • Ability to translate business requirements, wireframes, and process pain points into production-ready technical solutions using tools such as Figma or equivalent.
  • Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with development in Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate Tools
