The group you'll be a part of
The impact you'll make
As a Process Technician at Lam, are a vital part of the team in actively supporting process development, product development, and research and development (R&D). You'll set up processing equipment, conduct technical tests and experiments, process test runs, and present findings to optimize yield. Your technical expertise supports process development, contributing to Lam's commitment to innovation.
What you'll do
  • Supports Process Engineers in preparation for wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) tests, equipment setup, experiments, data collection, and sample submissions.
  • Operates processing equipment and advanced tools with recipes defined by engineering teams to collect experiment results, capture measurements (e.g. thin film, CD, wafter disposition performance) and chemistry properties analysis.
  • Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield optimization areas.
  • Provides technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers.
  • Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities of the application lab tools and experiment setups.

Who we're looking for
  • Less than 1 year of related experience.
  • Associates degree in technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE), cleanroom suit, or smock.
  • Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English.
  • Ability to work a shift schedule.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
