Diagnostic investigations are conducted in close collaboration with the AHL, a full-service AAVLD-accredited diagnostic laboratory. The AHL has a team of ten ACVP board-certified anatomic pathologists, and a histology laboratory that serves both the AHL and Department of Pathobiology.
The Department of Pathobiology has recognized strengths in anatomic, clinical, and comparative pathology, immunology, oncology, microbiology, and veterinary infectious diseases. The Department, together with the AHL, has a 13,000 square metre building housing well-equipped modern research and diagnostic laboratories.
