The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.
The impact you'll make
As a Quality Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects - you're orchestrating breakthroughs in support of Global Operations Quality AOP programs. You'll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your business and technical quality excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded quality processes. Your role is vital, owning quality projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget. The role acts as a central execution and integration point across different organizations, ensuring that quality initiatives are delivered with clarity, discipline, and measurable outcomes.
What you'll do
  • Over-see the quality programs from problem definitions through developing project plans, aligning teams, managing risk, and driving projects through release.
  • Project manage cross functional execution across Product Groups, CSBG, Global Operations teams (Mfg, Supply chain, Logistics), Field Quality, and Analytics teams.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meets business requirements on time and within budget.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand process and system requirements and deliver enhancements based on the AOP objectives.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects, owning the entire lifecycle from inception to impactful results.
  • Perform data collection and statistical analysis, and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.
  • Coach and train teams in project objectives, process methodologies, and quality project best practices.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously contribute to enhancements and project deliverables and inspire alignment.
  • Track program KPIs and milestones aligned with Global Operations Quality AOP and KPIs.
  • Maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to provide clear visibility of progress, risks, and trends to leadership.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness in reporting.
  • Deliver change management for programs that are sustainable and maintains long-term success.
  • Prepare materials for various accountability reviews, Operations Reviews, and leadership updates.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with senior leadership, stakeholders, and project team on execution status and risks.
  • Escalate issues when execution is at risk and propose mitigation options.
  • Familiarity with quality systems and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Problem solving methodologies), with experience driving KPI-driven execution and follow-through

Who we're looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of related experience in project management or program management
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Program Management with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Experienced in quality projects and processes.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master is a big plus
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus.
  • Expertise with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently within Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs), proactively driving actions, follow-ups, and decisions without day-to-day supervision is a must
  • Minimum BS in any discipline, MS preferred
  • Experience in Change Management methodologies is a plus.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
Salary
Salary Range for this position: $92,000.00 - $211,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
