Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer will design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment. Must be comfortable working with other project team members to ensure the successful outcome for the client and Triple Ring. Qualified individuals must possess strong analytical and communication skills, be comfortable doing hands-on work, be self-starters, and be prepared to thrive in a collaborative environment. This position will report to the Lead, Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities
  • Hands on technical and product development engineering
  • Engineering analysis and modeling using classical and numerical methods
  • Data driven component and assembly Design
  • Hands on build and test; data analysis and reporting
  • Preparing documentation including CAD drawings, BOM's, and QMS documentation

Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Candidate must have a strong academic background with a record of project achievement and demonstration of leadership qualities.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, MS preferred, or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years industry experience
  • Industry background or Academic strength and interest in several of the following areas:
    • Medical devices and technology
    • Robotics
    • Machine Design
    • Dynamics
    • Design
    • Heat transfer
    • Finite element analysis (solid mechanics, thermal, fluid systems)
  • Strong engineering and physical science fundamentals and analytical skills
  • Strong interest in product development
  • Willingness to be "hands on"
  • Knowledge of common fabrication methods and processes
  • Familiarity with common materials and their characteristics (metals, plastics, elastomers, etc.)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)

The annual salary/hourly range for jobs which are performed in US, California is $85,000.00 to $100,000.00. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and work location.
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and 1-day of your choice. In certain circumstances the hybrid work model may change to accommodate business needs.
