Job Summary: Conducts experiments, tests, and assembles prototypes, analyzes data to support the development and improvement of products.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to engineers and other team members in research, development, testing, and maintenance activities
  • Conduct complex tests, experiments, and validation procedures on equipment, systems, and components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, identifying trends, anomalies, and correlations to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the engineering team.
  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth project progression.
  • Manage and maintain advanced technical equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory facilities, ensuring proper functioning and calibration to support engineering activities.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing test procedures, results, and conclusions for internal review.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards throughout the engineering process, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, technicians, and project managers, fostering a collaborative work environment, and sharing technical expertise.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings in engineering operations.
  • Ability to locate diagrams and drawings independently within the AAON database.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Degree(s): Associate's Degree in HVAC

License(s): EPA 608 and A2L certification

Certification(s): None

  • Two-year HVAC degree from a technical school
  • Recommended 4-6 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
  • Education or experience beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development.
