Water Safety Instructor
Minimum Certification: American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
Recommended Certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Job Type: Part-Time Position
Job Hours: School year 3-5 hour shift weekday evening hours & Saturdays, Monday through Thursday for Summer
Location: Valley View Middle School Pool
Description: Under the direction of the Aquatics Program Coordinator, a Water Safety Instructor will teach people of all ages using the "Learn to Swim" Program. Water safety instructor must be an energetic, dedicated and motivated individual who enjoys swimming and teaching children or adults.
