As our mining and metals activities continue to grow, we'reseeking a mining engineer to join our high-performing mining team. You'll havethe opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects. You'll alsohelp with sustaining and growth projects, working closely with BBA and clientteams to deliver practical solutions to complex mining challenges.

Ideally, you'll be a mining professional with aninterest in consulting and client engagement within the base and precious metalssector.

  • Provide mining engineering and design services for underground mine studies, including scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed design and NI 43-101 technical reports:
    • Manipulating block models
    • Selecting appropriate mining methods
    • Calculating cut-off grades
    • Optimizing and developing mine designs
    • Preparing mine plans and production schedules
    • Determining equipment fleets
    • Estimating mineral reserves
    • Estimating capital and operating costs
    • Contributing to financial models
    • Writing and contributing to study reports
  • Work closely with our geology, ventilation, rock mechanics, drill-and-blast and infrastructure teams
  • Manage the mining scope of large projects
