Candidate Support Specialist/Call Center
Russell Tobin is seeking several motivated and customer-focused associates to join our client's fast-paced call center team supporting the hiring process for a global e-commerce organization. In this role, you will help candidates navigate the hiring journey, remove technical barriers, conduct virtual pre-hire appointments, and provide outstanding support through inbound and outbound communication channels.
Position Details
  • Location: Working on site in Tempe, AZ
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 - $18.30 per hour, depending on experience
  • Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, 4 x 10-hour shifts
  • Shift Options: Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday
  • Shift Hours: 8 hour shift between 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM Arizona Time (assigned 4 days with a 10-hour shift)
  • Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MST. Attendance during training is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of candidate contacts and ensure each inquiry is resolved with urgency, accuracy, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications with candidates via phone, email, chat, and SMS.
  • Conduct virtual pre-hire appointments and assist candidates with completing hiring requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or process-related issues that may prevent candidates from advancing to their first day.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends and sharing candidate feedback.
  • Manage daily tasks independently from start to finish while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  • Complete administrative duties and other tasks as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume call center environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using multiple systems and communication platforms simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Prior call center, customer support, recruiting, or administrative experience is a plus.
