Job description

Pride Health is hiring aย Certified Medical Assistantย client in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Type: Contract

Location-ย Rowlett, TX

Shift:ย Mon โ€“ Fri 8 am โ€“ 5 pm


Job Responsibilities:

ยท Performed all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistant, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards

ยท Operated diagnostic equipment, performed EKGs, and conducted quality control checks to ensure accuracy and functionality

ยท Administered non-intravenous medications and collected specimens using noninvasive techniques, including venipuncture and capillary blood collection

ยท Roomed patients according to established policies and procedures and prepared patients for physician examinations

ยท Accurately documented patient care, medical histories, vital signs, and clinical information in the electronic medical record in a timely manner

ยท Coordinated patient care activities under physician direction while adhering to company policies and healthcare regulations


Must have qualifications/experience:

ยท High School Diploma

ยท Medical Assistant Certification

ยท BLS
